Welcome to the website for First United Methodist Church in Red Oak! We are a community of grace and faith committed to reaching out to the people of Red Oak and the surrounding community.  Together, we are reaching up to God, moving into the world, and making Disciples of Christ.

First United Methodist is a faith community, strongly rooted in relationships.  There are many ministries and educational opportunities in which all ages may become active and involved.  And, we encourage one another to find one's place of ministry, witness, and service, and to grow in God's grace individually as together we nurture one another's growth in God's grace.

So, come!  Worship with us on Sunday mornings at 8:30 a.m. at the Traditional Service (with traditional hymns, choir and liturgy) or at 10:50 a.m. at the Blended Service (a mixture of hymns and praise songs).  Our Christian Education classes for all ages are at 9:45 a.m.  And, we invite you to come as you are!  Dress is casual.
Join us as we grow together, living in relationship with one another as we learn the ways of God that Jesus taught, and serve God out of love for God.

If we can be of service, or answer any questions, please give us a call at 972-617-9100.  We look forward to meeting you and worshipping with you this Sunday!

Online Giving

Available Now - Online Giving

First United Methodist Church of Red Oak is pleased to announce the introduction of an electronic option for making regular offerings. Contributions can now be debited automatically from your
checking or savings account [or processed using your debit card]. Our new electronic giving program offers convenience for you and much-needed donation consistency for our congregation.  If you are currently giving on a weekly basis, you will no longer need to write out 52 checks a year or prepare 52 envelopes. And, when travel, illness or other circumstances prevent you from attending services, this program will allow your weekly offerings to continue on an uninterrupted basis.  An authorization form and a “Frequently Asked Questions” flyer are available from the church office.
