Community Fellowship Dinners

Every 1st Wednesday Night The Hospitality/Outreach/Mission (OHM) team is sponsoring 1st Wednesday night Community Fellowship Dinners.  Please reach out to invite friends and neighbors to share a great home style meal and good fellowship at no charge.  We know that the key to building our church family is building relationships.  We also know that breaking bread together offers the opportunity to do that.  Come be part of growing our community of faith.

Call to Prayer and Self-Denial

The annual UMW Call to Prayer and Self-Denial program is scheduled for 4:30 – 5:00 PM, Sunday, February 16th, following the Hearts and Flowers Tea.  The program is a time for prayer and reflection upon our reason for being—our mission—as both Christian disciples and as United Methodist women.  The theme for this year’s program is “We Rise: Meeting God’s Call to Transform Communities.”  A special offering will be taken during the service to support the work of 90+ National Mission Institutions, International Partners and 8 Regional Missionaries.  100% of the offering will go to these mission programs and missionaries.  These programs offer educational and economic development opportunities to underserved and marginalized women, children and youth.  Projects include child development and afterschool programs; GED and ESL programs; job readiness, life skills and livelihood training; scholarships and microenterprise projects. Everyone is invited to join us following the Tea for this special program.
